Madrid is a city full of life and plans such as the cultural festival that will be held in the Barrio de las Letras between June 16 and 19. The event called CULTULETRAS is organized by the Merchants Association of the Barrio de las Letras and has the support of the Madrid City Council through its Madrid Capital de Moda and Todo está en Madrid projects.
This event not only seeks to vindicate the cultural life of this area of Madrid, but also seeks to promote the commercial and hospitality fabric of said area through the presentation of a program full of activities.
Cultuletras has the participation of numerous cultural organizations belonging to the Barrio de las Letras area: CaixaForum Madrid, the Royal Academy of History, the Lope de Vega House Museum, the Ateneo de Madrid, the Ateneo Fencing School, the Soy de La Cuesta, the Spanish Theatre, the Palacio Valdés School, the La Asunción School and the La Noche en Vivo Collective.
In addition to all these organizations, they also collaborate with Cultuletras, Mahou and the National Library.

➖ 16 THURSDAY – 19 SUNDAY
▶ VILLA ROSA: Free guided visit to the famous tablao flamenco: 11 am – 1pm. [Plaza Santa Ana, 15].
▶ CASA MUSEO LOPE DE VEGA: Guided tour of the writer’s home: 12 pm – 5 pm. [Calle Cervantes].
▶ BARRIO DE LAS LETRAS: Exhibition of caricatures of writers in different parts of the neighborhood.
▶ NOCHE EN VIVO: This association will present different shows in different places during the days that Cultuletras is held in the Barrio de las Letras. At Essential Flamenco there will be 13 shows with different shows and documentaries, while at the Café Central you can enjoy 6 shows of a jazz concert by the Jazz Sisters group from Friday 17 to Sunday 19.

▶ TEATRO ESPAÑOL: Visit to dress rehearsal: 7 pm. [Calle Príncipe].
▶ SOY DE LA CUESTA: The association together with Ireland Tourism presents the Bloom’s Day literary tour through different places in the Barrio de las Letras.
▶ CALZADOS FRANJUL: Presentation Capsule Collection ‘Homage to the Golden Age‘: 7 pm [Calle Lope de Vega, 11].
▶ CAIXA FORUM: There will be two guided tours: the first to the Caixa Forum Building starting at 11 am and 7 pm(30 places – Reserve your place here) and the second to the ‘Comics’ exhibition located in the same space between 5 and 6 pm. ▶ ATENEO DE MADRID: Tribute and reading ‘Elena Fortún’: 7pm. [Calle Prado].
You can also enjoy a route of art galleries and antique shops in the Barrio de las Letras (12 pm – 8 pm) and between 5 pm and 7 pm the activity “El Mural del Clima” will be held in the Impact Hub space, located in Alameda street.

On Monday the 20th, Cultuletras says goodbye until the next edition with ‘Musical Encounter for Adults’ in the Palacio Valdés School auditorium at 7:00 p.m.
Both in this and in the Colegio de la Asunción school contests will be held whose winners will be published during the days of Cultuletras.
