MAKE YOUR ‘CHULAPA’ DRESS AND ‘CHULAPO’ COSTUME
Do you want to make your own chulapa and chulapo dress and costume? The Madrid City Council, in collaboration with the Asociación Creadores de Moda de España (ACME), offers the costume patterns for you to become an authentic chulapo.
The aim is to contribute to the survival of traditional craftsmanship and to promote Spanish fashion.
Encarna Herencias, from the Madrid workshop ‘Con Alma de Costura’, has developed 2 patterns in different sizes: one for the dress and another for the suit, consisting of two pieces, pants and vest.

SAN ISIDRO ‘ROSQUILLAS’ route
Different stores and markets in Madrid prepare the classic ‘rosquillas del Santo’ to delight the palate with their different versions: ‘tontas’, ‘listas’, ‘francesas’ or ‘de Santa Clara’.
