The urban art festival of Lavapiés celebrates its XI edition this year 2024 and continues with the objective of supporting and promoting small commerce.
52 artists have painted 52 locals of the neighborhood filling the streets with color and life, creativity and joy.

The exhibition ‘Shy Sculpture’, curated by jewelry designer Helena Rohner and the curator of the jewelry collection of the Museo del Traje, Concha Herranz, can be enjoyed on the second floor of the museum.
This exhibition presents a dialogue between traditional and contemporary jewelry, and can be enjoyed until Sunday, May 5.
MAY 2ND CELEBRATION IN MADRID
On May 2, Madrid Community Day will be celebrated with concerts, parades, exhibitions and historical recreations of the uprising of the people of Madrid against the French occupation in 1808.
