Vogue Fashion Fund

Vogue magazine is once again holding a new edition of the Vogue Fashion Fund in search of the designer of the year from among the new creators of Spanish designer fashion.

From 4 July until 4 September, young designers can submit their candidacy for this award that seeks to reward talent in the field of Spanish design.

In the last edition of 2022, Vogue Who’s on next was renamed Vogue Fashion Fund, and now in 2023, it celebrates its XII edition, being the biggest fashion award in Spain that is once again being held in collaboration with Inditex.

PREVIOUS EDITIONS

Among the winners of previous editions of the Vogue Fashion Fund are some of the most important names in Spanish designer fashion today. Among them we can find two of the winners of the Madrid Capital de Moda Award such as Moisés Nieto and Carlota Barrera, but also important creators both at international and national level such as Palomo Spain, Mans or Dominnico and of course, great designers who are also dedicated to the training of future creative talents such as Mané Mané or Juan Vidal, who are part of the faculty of CSDMM – UPM.

 HOW DO I PARTICIPATE?

According to Vogue, any natural or legal person who meets the following requirements and can prove them with the requested documentation can participate. Take note!

▶️ Spanish nationality or legal residence in Spain.

▶️ Be of legal age.

▶️ Be the owner of a business related to fashion design or haute couture established in Spain for at least two years and have produced at least one complete ready-to-wear or haute couture collection.

▶️ You must carry out economic activities within the footwear and clothing industry or other textile clothing (Model 036).

 HOW AND WHEN DO I APPLY?

The application must be sent in the form of a dossier to voguefashionfund@condenast.es between 4 July 2023 and 4 September 2023 inclusive.

Applications will be processed in different phases:

▶️ 1st Phase: In the pre-selection, the Vogue Spain Selection Committee will select three/five finalists from among the applications that have met the requirements set out in the terms and conditions.

▶️ 2nd Phase: The three/five finalists will be subjected to an interview by the Jury in which they will have to answer the questions posed to them and, in addition, they will have to make a presentation of their collections (past, present and those they plan to present in the future).

Once the phases have been completed, the Jury will choose the winner of the Competition from among these three/five candidates.

WHAT DOES THE VOGUE FASHION FUND PRIZE CONSIST OF?

The winner will not only have the prestige of being part of the Vogue Fashion Fund family, but will also receive a cash prize of 100,000 euros gross, editorial coverage in Vogue Spain and membership of the Asociación Creadores de Moda de España (ACME).
