Spanish designer fashion is fundamental to the city of Madrid, which is why we at Madrid Capital de Moda have always claimed our city as one of the most interesting and important points of the international design scene, and we support the initiatives of ACME (the Asociación Creadores de Moda de España) such as Madrid Es Moda or the exhibition ’40+1′ by Roberto Verino held at the Centro Cultural de la Villa, Fernán Gómez.
Now, in collaboration with the Department of Culture, Tourism and Sport of the Community of Madrid, ACME presents the Rutas por la Moda de Autor Española de Madrid, which kicks off on Tuesday 28 June with the designer Juan Vidal.
The initiative Rutas por la Moda de Autor Española in Madrid (Routes through Spanish Designer Fashion in Madrid) will promote, through the main tour operators and hotels in the capital, an exclusive tour of 43 ateliers, boutiques and flagship stores of leading Spanish designers through unique and customisable experiences.
Combining leisure and tourism, the project aims to offer the great differential value of Madrid, one of the most important showcases for Spanish designer fashion.
