Madrid Under the Open Sky: ‘Terracear’ is our thing

Madrid A Cielo Abierto: Terracear es lo nuestro

‘Madrid a Cielo Abierto’ ( Madrid Under the Open Sky) returns from May 27 to June 5 so that both men and women from Madrid and visitors can enjoy outdoor leisure in different hotels in the city. In this new edition, the campaign organized by AEHM comes with the motto ‘Terracear is our thing’, offering the public different proposals to enjoy the summer in gardens, terraces and rooftops.

This 2022 marks the 4th anniversary of the first celebration of ‘Madrid A Cielo Abierto’, which this year has the collaboration of the Madrid City Council through the General Directorate of Commerce and Hospitality. Through the initiatives of the Madrid City Council, Todo está en Madrid and Madrid Capital de Moda, the Madrid Hotel Business Association (AEHM) has full support on its channels both on Madrid Capital de Moda website and on social networks that will serve as a showcase to show what will happen during the 10 days of the event.

In this new edition, 41 hotels in Madrid are participating, presenting more than fifty unique activities in their spaces. In Madrid, terraces are essential, which is why ‘Madrid A Cielo Abierto’ wants to pay tribute to terraceo with gastronomic offers, cultural visits, cocktail tastings, film screenings and much more. Mar de Miguel, the executive vice president of AEHM, comments that from the association “we want this initiative to turn ‘Madrid a Cielo Abierto’ into an essential event in the city, highlighting the more relaxed and informal facet of Madrid hotels, with proposals both traditional and innovative.”

If you want to enjoy this unique occasion, you can do the ‘Madrid A Cielo Abierto’ route through Todo está en Madrid, consult all the information on the official website of the event or consult the new AEHM portal: Mucho + Que Hoteles (Much more than hotels). Enjoy the most chic terraceo from May 27 to June 5 in Madrid, the capital of Fashion!
