Gente tomando un aperitivo al aire libre

After two successful editions in Barcelona, the Orígenes gastronomic festival arrives in Madrid from 22 to 23 September at the Fundación Ortega-Marañón. All attendees will be able to enjoy a unique experience where gastronomy and sustainability will be the protagonists. Over the course of 8 hours, the public will be able to meet in person 9 artisan creators of unique products such as Anselmo Pérez (Salamanca) who makes 100% acorn-fed Iberian products or Viri Fernández, winner of the award for the best fabada (bean stew) in the world.

+ information

According to its founder Lluís Cintas: “The purpose of oríGenes is to become aware of the ancestral process behind each food, to promote responsible production and consumption through knowing the real history of each product, connecting producers and consumers, and thus be part of the change that the gastronomy of the future has to make”.

In addition to being able to meet great gastronomic professionals, all those who attend Orígenes will be able to enjoy different inspiring talks and innovative creative workshops, offered by great professionals such as Juanjo López (owner of La Tasquita de Enfrente) or José Roldán, named the best baker in the world 2023.
