FLOWERS HAVE BEEN A TREND THIS SEASON AND MADRID IS GETTING READY FOR ONE OF THE ESSENTIAL SPRING EVENTS.
VOGUE’s Spring Flower Market will celebrate its 9th edition on Saturday, May 18, coinciding with International Fascination of Plants Day. You will be able to find numerous proposals and the latest trends in floral decoration on Jorge Juan Street.
The event is promoted by Vogue Spain and the Madrid City Council, through the Todo Está En Madrid program. It has the collaboration of the Association of Traders of the Salamanca neighborhood, District 41.
NEW FEATURES OF THE 9TH EDITION
The center of Madrid will become a colorful outdoor market that will bring together some of the best florists in the city, as well as artisans and NGOs. It will be a unique opportunity to connect leisure, crafts and local commerce.
With the success of past editions and the increase of visitors, the market will have a space from Jorge Juan Street to Núñez de Balboa.
PARTICIPATING FLOWER SHOPS
In this edition will be present the florists Muscari, Botanyco, Daguerre, El Florista, Lorena Marco, Elena Suarez, Mar de Flores, Moss Floristas, Es Tiempo de flores, Francesca Lattanzi, Naranjas de la China, Flores en el Columpio, La Casa de las Plantas, Ferrini, Florea, Blooms, Marengo, Caléndula, Amborella, Arbolande, Bim Flowers and Alblanc Atelier de Flores, among others.

The Spanish Commission for Refugee Aid (CEAR) will exhibit a series of scarves made by refugee women. Other associations such as El Sueño de Vicky, Juegaterapia and Cabezotas Contra el Cáncer will also have their own spaces to inform about their solidarity initiatives.
This 2024 edition coincides with the International Fascination of Plants Day, created by the European Plant Science Organization (EPSO). This day is dedicated to fostering interest and exchange of information regarding plants, and raising awareness of their importance.
