THE GREAT SPANISH FASHION EVENT!
The first edition of the Spanish Fashion Academy Awards was held with resounding success.
The Teatro Fernán Gómez Centro Cultural de la Villa hosted the gala of these pioneering awards, organized by the Spanish Fashion Academy Foundation (FAME) and RTVE to make visible, recognize and promote the work of all the protagonists of the fashion industry.
The gala, presented by the model Nieves Álvarez, could be followed live on La 2, and RTVE Play, while the previous red carpet at the Biblioteca Nacional de España, was broadcast on RTVE Play with Elena Sánchez and Rafa Muñoz.
WINNERS PREMIOS ACADEMIA DE LA MODA ESPAÑOLA 2024
The winners of the 8 categories were chosen after a vote by the 129 Founding Academicians of FAME, paying tribute to Cristóbal Balenciaga, who would be 129 years old in 2024.

In addition, the FAME board of trustees awarded two special prizes:

RED CARPET
The event began in the afternoon on the stairs of the Biblioteca Nacional de España, the scene of red carpet that was walked by more than a hundred personalities from the worlds of fashion, television and music.
Among those who walked the carpet were Nieves Álvarez, presenter of the ceremony; designers such as Teresa Helbig, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, Juan Vidal, Moisés Nieto, Carlota Barrera, Acromatyx, Oteyza, Ana Locking, Arturo Obegero, Juan Duyos, Juanjo Oliva, Jorge Redondo, Ulises Mérida, Hannibal Laguna and Ze García; key names in the sector such as Rosa Tous, Adriana Domínguez and Jaume Miquel; historical couturiers such as Lola Piña and Marisa Abenza; models such as Verónica Blume, Laura Sánchez and Almudena Fernández; singers such as Marta Sánchez, Mikel Erentxun, Alberto Jiménez of Miss Caffeina, Leo Rizzi, Rayden and Walls; actors such as Macarena Gómez, Hiba Abouk, Nerea Barros and Mireia Oriol; faces of Spanish Television programs and series such as ‘Maestros de la Costura’, ‘MasterChef’, Benidorm Fest, ‘La promesa’, ‘La moderna’ or ‘Cifras y letras’, and influencers such as María Pombo, Gala González, Marina Rivers and Rocío Osorno, among others.
