Seventh edition of Madrid Design Festival

This 2024, Madrid Design Festival, the event that turns Madrid into the international design capital. This year, this initiative, which will be held from 8 February to 17 March, celebrates its seventh anniversary with a packed programme of events on a wide range of themes.

On this occasion, fashion and goldsmithing are two of the main ingredients of the different activities that will take place throughout the month and a half that the new edition of the Madrid Design Festival lasts. Let’s take a look at some of the proposals that you can’t miss…

oteyza experience

Paul García de Oteyza and Caterina Pañeda, winner of the Madrid Fashion Capital 2021 award, present a transversal intervention in disruptive codes of electronic music, dance and fashion, proposing a dialogue between tradition and the avant-garde.  More information.

‘al bies. las artistas y el diseño en la vanguardia española’*

The National Museum of Decorative Arts will be hosting the exhibition until 31 March, which aims to highlight the work of artists in the field of plastic and decorative arts. More information. *AL BIES. WOMEN ARTISTS AND DESIGN IN THE SPANISH AVANT-GARDE’.

SACo, the Spanish Association of Contemporary Crafts participates together with Mazda in this new edition with an exhibition that vindicates the importance of craftsmanship and its commitment to sustainability. More information.
