Madrid Craft Week, will take place from June 16 to 25 with a Spring edition whose main objective is to support Madrid trade and crafts by highlighting handmade and sustainable luxury.
The event returns with an interesting program made up of workshops, visits, or exhibitions that can be discovered during these days, in which it will be possible to discover the world of craft first-hand and its importance for the fashion, decoration, art and the gastronomy. Sustainability always has a fundamental relevance in Madrid Craft Week, which in its ninth celebration will have the participation of more than 200 establishments.
On this new occasion, different associations of merchants from Madrid neighborhoods will participate again, such as Las Letras Street (Barrio de las Letras), Chueca Diversa , Salesas Madrid or , among many other collaborators, among which of course is the Madrid City Council, through the project.

▶ Showcase Circuit: Special Invited Artisans.
A walk through the Barrio de las Letras will allow you to enjoy national crafts from the Association for Textile Creation, in an initiative that has the support of Gin Xoriguer. The shops of Las Letras Street open their windows for the artisans to show their talent in dialogue with the pieces of each establishment. You can see hand-painted silk fans in a beauty shop, headdresses that are almost sculptures in a bookstore, or hand-woven cotton pieces in a jewelry store. In addition to 10 artisans from Madrid, there is representation from the Basque Country, Navarra, the Canary Islands and Coimbra (Portugal).
▶ Summer circuit in El Rastro in the artisan shops of Morueco Ceramics, Mario Cruz Designer, Planthae, Clarina Ceramics and Eturel.
▶ Presentation of the new Andrés Gallardo collection on June 21 at 7:00 p.m. in his study (San Pedro, 8). The jewelry firm Andrés Gallardo presents the GLYPTOTHEK collection made up of a colorful sample of jewels made up of eyes, nose and mouth, hand-modeled in porcelain and set as archaeological and museum pieces.
▶ WE ARE LOOKING FOR THE LEADING CRAFTSMEN OF MADRID CRAFT WEEK XMAS 23 Contest: One of the main objectives of Madrid Craft Week is to give visibility to the work of artisans, recognizing their talent while promoting local trade. Madrid Craft Week is looking for the craftsman who will become the image of the next Christmas edition.
The winner will receive an economic prize, will be the protagonist of the next edition of Madrid Craft Week Xmas 2023 and will be one of the spokespersons for the III Edition of the Madrid Craft Week Awards.
➡ The artisans must send photographs of their work and explain why it represents the values and character of Madrid Craft Week and its special Christmas edition to the email concursos@madridcraftweek.es before August 31. This call is made possible thanks to Gin Xoriguer, a brand that always bets on national crafts.
▶ WE LOOK FOR THE ARTISAN BY XORIGUER Contest: The purpose of this award is the creation of two artisan pieces destined for Gin Xoriguer in order to give visibility to the artisan work of the country’s masters, and to promote handmade creation today.
The winner of the contest will have the opportunity to gain prominence by exhibiting their winning works in important venues that participate in the Madrid Craft Week Xmas 2023 edition. To register, all you have to do is send an email to concursos@madridcraftweek.es before August 31.
