PI©A$$oTM de Rogelio López Cuenca

The project ‘PI©A$$oTM’ by Rogelio López Cuenca (Celebración Picasso) reaches its final stage in the State Museums of Madrid and can be visited at the Museo del Traje from 19 October to 14 January.

In the foyer of the museum, a mannequin wears the traditional Breton T-shirt. By having his photograph taken with this seafaring garment, Picasso turned it into a distinctive sign of his own personality, incorporating, with this simple gesture, a complex symbolic set of cultural references. Visitors will be able to see this installation and a video made especially for it. Don’t miss it!
