Mercado de las Ranas

On the first and the third Saturday of each month, the establishments of the Barrio de las Letras take their commercial, cultural, artistic and gastronomic offer to the streets! Mercado de las Ranas emulates other markets known around the world, such as Portobello Road, Camden Town (London) or the Flea Market of Saint-Ouen (Paris).

In addition the street market of the Barrio de Las Letras is expanded with more stalls and more participating artisans. The central market will be located from Calle Huertas at the corner of Calle San Sebastián (next to Plaza del Ángel) to Calle Huertas at the corner of Calle Príncipe, but all visitors will be able to continue enjoying the usual stalls (from Calle Huertas at the corner of Calle León, until Huertas street corner Costanilla de las Trinitarias.)

More than 200 commercial establishments of the Barrio de las Letras will open their doors in an uninterrupted way the first Saturday of each month. They show and share their the commercial, tourist, cultural and gastronomic offer with all visitors (national and international).
