Craft Market Fair

From December 1st to December 30th, both Madrilenians and visitors can enjoy the new edition of the AMOA Fair (Madrid Association of Craft Trades), which has the support of the Madrid City Council, at Paseo de Recoletos on the corner of Plaza de Cibeles.

Up to 130 craftsmen and craftswomen from Madrid and other Comunidades Autónomas present their work to the public, while claiming the importance of promoting their work because it is a source of art, originality and authenticity, thanks to their enormous professionalism and commitment to handmade products.

As AMOA explains: “Handicrafts are part of the culture of a country or region. It is tradition, exclusive dedication, creativity, design and great effort essential in the handmade work of small entrepreneurs”.

This association arose in 2020 when two historical associations of Madrid decided to join forces and today consists of more than 100 artisans and a multitude of trades.

This new edition of the Fair, Paseo de Recoletos will have the participation of various artisans such as leather workers, wood carvers, toy makers, ceramists, seamstresses, hatters, jewelers, jewelers, paper and cardboard handlers, dry flower handlers, among many others.
