This week, the main contemporary art events that take place in the city, and Madrid Capital de Moda wants to invite Madrid residents and visitors to enjoy some of the most special proposals. Art can also be discovered in the open air in the streets of the center, while strolling through some of the most important commercial areas of the city.
UVNT ART FAIR
Until February 26, Madrid Capital de Moda takes art to the streets, bringing it closer to the public thanks to UVNT ART FAIR, the contemporary and urban art fair returns to the city, locating its headquarters in the COAM and uniting with Las Rozas Village.
In Gran Vía / Montera street we can find the colorful and fun sculpture by Albert Pinya, while in Plaza de Callao, the artist Avelino Sala has located his artist proposal and in Gran Vía con Alcalá next to the Metropolis building, the spectacular golden sculpture awaits us by Yann Leto. In addition, at different bus stops, thanks to the collaboration of JCDecaux with the UVNT ART FAIR project, you can also enjoy projections of some of the works that are part of this new edition of the contemporary art fair.
SALÓN DE ARTE MODERNO (SAM)
From February 22 to 26, the Carlos de Amberes Foundation celebrates the sixth edition of SAM, the Modern Art Salon with the collaboration of the Barrio de Salamanca, 41st District Merchants Association and the Madrid City Council, through its programs Madrid Capital de Moda and Todo está en Madrid.
Offering visitors a close and exclusive experience with modern art as the protagonist, also through the palate, because numerous establishments in the Barrio de Salamanca such as La Bien Aparecida, Pante or Taberna Los Gallos, among others, have created delicious culinary proposals inspired by the Salvador Dali paintings.
madrid LUXURY ART
The Madrid Luxury District association and the Madrid City Council, through the Government Area of Economy, Innovation and Employment, within the framework of the Madrid Capital de Moda project, and the Salamanca District Councilor’s Office present a new edition of Madrid Luxury Art , an urban art proposal that can be visited until April 16. 20 sculptors participate in this initiative that has more than 30 sculptures located along Ortega y Gasset street in the Barrio de Salamanca and in establishments such as the Rosewood Villa Magna hotel.
ARCOMADRID
In this international art fair, artists, collectors, gallery artists and art professionals from all over the world will gather as every year. This 2023, ARCOmadrid will celebrate its 42nd edition with the Mediterranean as the protagonist through the program, `The Mediterranean: A Round Sea´. From February 22 to 26 at IFEMA.

With the main objective of turning Madrid into one of the capitals of international design, the Madrid Design Festival returns for another year and until March 12 you will be able to discover different events in the city from talks, to exhibitions and presentations on different disciplines such as interior design, aesthetics or graphic design.
