Alfonso Ohnur is a photographer with a long international career from New York to Paris. During his professional career he has boosted the image of various brands such as Zara, Massimo Dutti and Carolina Herrera.
His work explores the different types of photography through analogue, digital and instantaneous techniques and is mainly based on painting and film. Ohnur has collaborated with major publications such as Vogue, Glamour, Nylon, or Harper’s Bazaar and important brands including Alexander McQueen, Cartier, and Loewe. In all his works, his own identity and aesthetics stand out, very recognizable to the general public.
From March 2 to 30, the monographic exhibition ‘Sin Filtro’ (Without Filter) can be visited at the Eduardo Úrculo Cultural Center, being located in the calendar of activities of the ’12 meses, 12 artes’ (12 months, 12 arts) program of the Municipal District of Tetuán.
This exhibition is made up of a set of polaroids taken by Ohnur throughout his career and which were part of some renowned campaigns and international publications. Through a photographic tour, the ‘Sin Filtro’ exhibition aims to reflect on genuine fashion photography, from the previous collective work to imagine a story to its final publication, going through all the stages involved in the process until finding the perfect picture.
