The Villanueva University presents the exhibition‘La fluidez del tejido’ (‘The fluidity of tissue’), an exhibition on the designer Ernesto Naranjo that can be seen between January 10 and 17 in building B of the university.
The exhibition will show 13 pieces by the Sevillian designer in which it will be possible to observe his particular way of understanding fashion and playing with the shapes and volumes of the garments through the fabric.
Paillettes, metals, ornaments or subtle transparencies are some of the ingredients that can be seen in the creations of this young designer and that will be present in ‘The fluidity of tissue’, the exhibition dedicated to him by the Villanueva University at the beginning of 2023.
Organized by the Fashion Department of the Villanueva University, the initiative aims to bring fashion closer to the general public, as well as to students or specialized teachers, claiming Spanish designer fashion.
To complement ‘The fluidity of tissue’, the Villanueva University will also hold the conference ‘Fashion in museums and collections’ between January 12 and 13, being the first seminar of its Center for Research in Fashion and Contemporary Phenomena (CIMFC) , coordinated by the Fashion Department of the university.
These conferences will be made up of different presentations offered by about 25 researchers and academics specialized in fashion such as Eloy Martínez de la Pera , Laura Cerrato or Esperanza García Claver, among many others.
