The delegate of the Madrid City Council’s Department of Economy, Innovation and Finance, Engracia Hidalgo, together with the Chinese ambassador to Spain, Yao Jing, presented the Todo Madrid está en China app at the Four Seasons Hotel Madrid.

It is an app that aims to bring Madrid’s markets, shops and restaurants closer to Chinese tourists so that they can discover Madrid first hand.

Todo Madrid is in China is part of the Todo está en Madrid initiative, and its main objective is to achieve greater visibility in Chinese social networks, boosting the digitalisation, promotion and dynamisation of the city.

This new version of Todo está en Madrid will allow it to be adapted to the development of Chinese digital tools, which will make it possible to register the Todo está en Madrid account on WeChat, a social network with almost 1.3 billion users.

The Todo está en Madrid programme, a key part of the strategy, now has more than 13,300 establishments and more than 467,000 users; it is already available in six languages and now includes Chinese.

The municipal government’s commitment to this sector is reflected in the more than 17 million euros earmarked to support markets, commerce and the hotel and catering industry.

Remember, it’s all in Madrid.
