Menina frente al Templo de Debod

New Edition of Meninas Madrid Gallery

Nueva Edición de Meninas Madrid Gallery

One more year, Meninas Madrid Gallery returns to the city, this time, with the celebration of its fourth edition that will take place from November 1 to December 15. With the support of the Madrid City Council, through the Madrid Capital de Moda project and ACOTEX (Business Association for Textile, Accessories and Leather Trade), this initiative is back, which this time is called: “A window to the world”, expressing the goal of filling the streets with color and creativity.

A VERY SPECIAL COLLABORATION

As on previous occasions, Antonio Azzato, creator and director of the exhibition has collaborated with numerous artists and personalities from the world of sports, cuisine, music and other areas such as Ana Obregón, Boris Izaguirre, Chef José Andrés, Isabella Fernandez, Belén Santiago, Isabel Sevillano, DJ Nano, Anne Igartiburu, among many others.

All these authors of the works, apart from developing all their creativity, become ambassadors of good cause and allocate their meninas to an auction at the closing of the exhibition, in which part of the proceeds will go to the foundations they represent. Also this year, Meninas Madrid Gallery wants to pay special attention to those affected by the eruption of the Cumbre Vieja volcano on the island of La Palma, in the Canary Islands.

Meninas Madrid Gallery 2021

A VERY FLIRTLESS AND COMMITTED VISITORS

Since 2018, more than 200 meninas have been in key points of the city of Madrid, not only beautifying the streets, supporting the commercial activity of the city in order to progress, facing the difficulties derived from the health crisis. On this occasion, Meninas Madrid Gallery collaborates with the trade platform Todo esta en Madrid. All the meninas that visitors and residents will find in the streets of Madrid will have a bid code in their base that redirects to the Todo está en Madrid website.

Through the QR codes, everyone will be able to know the hotel and commercial offer found in the area where each menina is located. In addition, all the commercial, hoteliers, hoteliers and services of the city that consider it appropriate will be able to join this initiative for free.
