MADRID GAY PRIDE 2021

MADRID ORGULLO 2021

This year, the Gay Pride of Madrid comes with numerous cultural, sports, social and recreational activities to be able to enjoy the city from Friday, June 25 to Sunday, July 4.

MADO, acronym for Madrid Orgullo (Madrid Gay Pride), has positioned itself as one of the most important LGTBI Prides in the world, since in 2007 and 2017, it was the headquarters of EuroPride, the latter coinciding with WorldPride in 2017.

In this new edition of 2021, MADO once again positions Madrid as a global tourist, leisure, culture and shopping destination for the LGTBI community and as a city committed to diversity, plurality and the visibility of all forms of love.

One of the main objectives of MADO 2021 to put Madrid again, after the health crisis, on the global map as a first-order destination among this segment that brings together 10% of tourists worldwide and represents 16% of total spending in travel.

ACTIVITIES IN THE NEIGHBORHOODS OF THE HEART OF MADRID

Chueca will continue to be the epicenter of Pride celebrations and all its establishments wear the colors of the rainbow to welcome visitors and tourists.

La Latina, Lavapiés and Malasaña are also neighborhoods where diversity is present in their activities, exhibitions and shops.

This year Las Letras Street has organized a special program in the Las Letras neighborhood: a concert by Tavi Gallart, a presentation of the book “Yo Soy el que Soy” and a concert by Aaron Lee and an official Pop Up by María Jiménez with the collection of the artist and very special memories.

In order to offer the participants of the event different parallel activities, small and attractive events will be held in collaboration with hotels, bars, restaurants and shops with special promotions in the hospitality establishments.
