Centro Superior de Diseño de Moda (The Higher Center for Fashion Design of Madrid) of the Polytechnic University of Madrid (CSDMM-UPM) – a benchmark in training in fashion and at the forefront for offering its students new opportunities in the sector to publicize their work – promote ‘CDSMM Must Go On’, a unique occasion for fashion in the city of Madrid.
From June 15 to 27, you will be able to enjoy this exhibition at the Matadero Design Center –Dimad–, in the markets of La Paz, Antón Martín, Vallehermoso and in points of the city. The collections of emerging designers and the ‘CSDMM Must Go On’ program of activities will be present at this photographic exhibition, which will be completed with a Master Talk by Juan Vidal, Daniel Rabaneda and young creators who will deepen their training in fashion. In addition, the multiplatform will also have a presence at csdmm.upm.es.
Ana Locking, Juan Vidal, Daniel Rabaneda, Miguel Becer –ManéMané– or Ernesto Naranjo, among others, are some of the teachers who train young designers by transferring technical and creative skills to them, reflected in ‘CSDMM Must Go On’. Thus, the creations – garments, accessories – collect the work during a year marked by the current situation. An opportunity to highlight the capacity of a generation of emerging designers who optimistically bring their Collections to different parts of the city.
With the support of the Madrid City Council through the Madrid Capital de Moda project, ‘CDSMM Must Go On’ will bring fashion to the streets and markets of Madrid, as well as spaces dedicated to art so that the general public can enjoy the work of the young fashion designers, but also Madrid merchants, because as Guillermo García-Badell (Director of the CSDMM-UPM) points out: “from the CSDMM-UPM we want to share the work of our students with the city.”
