This edition will take place between the 24th and the 29th of January and will host fashion shows by designers such as Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada, Pilar Dalbat, Oteyza, Ángel Schelsser, Teresa Helbig, Ailanto, Moisés Nieto and Maison Mesa, among others. Madrid Capital de Moda wants to bring Mercedes Benz Fashion Week to all Madrid visitors, so it has decided to carry out again an initiative that was already launched during the last edition. From Wednesday 23rd until Tuesday 29th of January, some fashion shows can be enjoyed for free because MCDM brings fashion to the streets.
This will be possible thanks to the live broadcast that will be played through a giant screen installed by the Madrid City Council in the Plaza de Colón, next to the Meliá Fénix Hotel.
From 11am until 10pm you can follow the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week fashion shows. In addition to this, all visitors who come to the Barceló Food Market can also follow the fashion shows thanks to the screen that will broadcast them in streaming.
Fashion returns to the street, because from January 18 and until Thursday 31 you can enjoy the urban festival Madrid es Moda. Together with the Fashion Week in Madrid, Madrid Es Moda encompasses numerous activities such as the exhibition of photographs “The Female Seams of Fashion in Spain (1930 – 2018)” or gastronomic events in the Only You hotels inspired by the designers Ágatha Ruiz De La Prada and Teresa Helbig.
