This 2022, Madrid Design Festival, the event that makes Madrid the capital of international design. This year, this initiative, which takes place from February 15 to March 31, turns five and wants to celebrate it by showing the public a rich program full of events on numerous themes. On this occasion, fashion and decoration are two of the main ingredients of the different activities that will take place throughout the month and a half that the new edition of the Madrid Design Festival lasts. CineMA & FASHION BY jean paul gautier

The exhibition deals with the exchanges and influences that occur between cinema and fashion, a creative relationship seen through the particular gaze of Jean Paul Gaultier, co-curator and artistic director of the exhibition. At Caixa Forum from 02/18 to 6/05. More information.

Lorenzo caprile behind the curtain

In this exhibition dedicated to Lorenzo Caprile’s career in the performing arts, we can enjoy a select collection of costumes designed for theater, musicals, opera and ballet.  At Centro de Arte Alcobendas from 02/03 to 04/13. More information.

 In the Museum of Romanticism there will be a guided tour by its cultural mediators from the cultural museum to observe the design of 19th century furniture. At Museo del Romanticismo from 02/03 al 02/26. More information.

At the Cerralbo Museum you can enjoy an exhibition that shows the period of transition and change in all aspects, including the material culture of everyday life. between the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century.
