The Association ‘Hostelería Madrid’ reinvents Christmas

La Asociación Hostelería Madrid reinventa la Navidad

This Christmas, the HOSTELERÍA MADRID association, which represents nearly 3,000 hospitality entrepreneurs in the Community of Madrid, launches the VOCES movement in support of the sector that has been severely affected throughout this year due to the health crisis.

More than 50 Madrid establishments, among which are among many others, Ramses, El Qüenco de Pepa, La Tasquita or Gaytán, have joined the Reiventamos la Navidad campaign to support the Madrid hospitality in a different way due to the circumstances but with the same force, so necessary for the sector to recover.

The Hostelería Madrid association has created the VOCES movement that, on the one hand, wants to give a voice to hoteliers and at the same time, bring the cause closer to the public. The Reinventamos la Navidad (Reinventing Christmas) campaign is located within this project, and their objective is to promote consumption during these dates through different formats such as delivery or take away, among others. In addition, through a QR code – present on cards at the stores and in their delivery services – customers will be able to make small donations to the Banco de Alimentos instantly and easily.

As for company dinners and lunches that have been canceled due to sanitary restrictions, they may be done in another way, since the initiative gives companies the option to give their employees cards that they can exchange in bars and restaurants. when they want.

Deputy Mayor Begoña Villacís has shown the support of the Madrid City Council for this project, recalling that “you always have to be careful and enjoy sensibly.”
