
Organized by Modaes in collaboration with Meta and Mango StartUp Studio and supported by EY, El Ganso and Kibo Ventures, the 3rd edition of the Fashion StartUp Contest will be held this Thursday, March 30.
The event will take place at the Eduardo Úrculo Cultural Center located in the District of Tetuán and once again has the support of the Madrid City Council through the Madrid Capital de Moda project and a committee of experts made up of great professionals belonging to to institutions such as the Istituto Europeo di Design and Tendam.
In this third edition, which follows the second that took place in La Nave last year, Fashion Start Up has received more than 50 applications and has once again become a connection point between startups, investment groups, world entities academic and large fashion companies.
The Fashion StartUp Contest will be attended by Miguel Ángel Redondo, Delegate of the Government Area for Economy, Innovation and Employment, as well as Belén Rallo, director of Mango StartUp Studio, and Juan Hurtado, representative of Meta.
Prior to the presentation of the 10 finalist applications, a round table will take place between the creators of Sepiia and Recovo, winners of the first and second edition respectively. After the interventions of the final candidates, the voting will take place and then the name of the winning project will be known.
