The urban art festival Pinta Malasaña arrives in Los Mostenses Market

Pinta Malasaña llega al Mercado de Los MostensesS

The Pinta Malasaña urban art festival returns with a new edition that this time can be enjoyed at the Mercado de los Mostenses in the heart of the city.

This year more than ever, it is necessary to promote local commerce, and the markets continue to be a fundamental piece of the economic fabric of Madrid, that is why Pinta Malasaña has had the participation of fifty artists who have created their works in the closings of the stalls and on the walls of the market.

These works can be enjoyed by going to the market freely or with guided tours. To know all the information about them and their creators, the murals will have posters and QR codes that will allow you to view explanatory videos. Also in the market, there will be a directory to be able to make a complete tour.

The artists who have participated in Pinta Malasaña have been selected by the organizers of this initiative (the local newspaper Somos Malasaña and the Madrid Street Art Project collective) from among the hundreds of elaborate ideas that have come from all over the country and abroad.

The Mostenses market will have these works made on its walls and commercial closings, since they will remain as the market’s cultural heritage, making shopping in the market an unforgettable experience.

If you want to meet each and every one of the artists who have made this new edition of Pinta Malasaña possible, you just have to go to their website.

We also want you to enjoy their beautiful and particular murals before going to the market to visit them in person. Take a look in our photo gallery.

Enjoy Pinta Malasaña 2020!
