For the fourth consecutive year, a unique occasion to enjoy the historical avant-gardes and modern art returns: SAM (the Modern Art Hall). This initiative of the association of District 41 of Barrio del Salamanca presents has the support of the Madrid City Council, through the Madrid Capital de Moda project.
Between July 6 and 11, you can go to the Velázquez 12 space, and discover this art fair that will feature more than 300 works selected from 12 galleries, some of the most important in the sector.
One of SAM’s objectives is to turn Madrid into the most important point on the international art map, therefore, the public that decides to know this exhibition will be able to find works by the most renowned artists in the world such as Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dalí, Joan Miró or Antonio López, among many others.
This show, organized by the gallery owner and director of SAM Jorge Alcolea, will have the participation of Galería Jordi Pascual (Barcelona), Galería d’Art Roger Viñuela (Barcelona), Galería de Arte Pilares (Madrid – Cuenca), Fernando Pinós Galería d’Art (Barcelona), Galería Cortina (Madrid/Barcelona), Galería Carlos Teixidó (Barcelona), Galería Benlluire (Valencia), Galería Jorge Juan (Madrid), Aleseide Gallery (Madrid), Galería del Cisne (Madrid), Galería Marc Calzada (Barcelona), Art Petritxol (Barcelona) y Galería Jorge Alcolea – Sala Nonell (Madrid – Barcelona).

In addition, as District 21 did last year during the month of February with the tribute to Luis Feito, art and gastronomy come together again to celebrate this fair, counting once again with the support of Madrid Capital de Moda, this time with a series of cocktails inspired by the artists who sign some of the works that are part of the new edition of SAM.
Among some of the gastronomic spaces that have joined the initiative we can find Taberna Los Gallos, Restaurante Cinco Jotas, La Bien Aparecida, Lobito de Mar, Bar Manero, Cadaqués, Bar Manero and Krápula.
