The first day of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Madrid started with power and a lot of provocation. Color was the real star of the day during the fashion shows of Ágatha Ruiz de la Prada, Duyos (who won the L’Oreal Paris Award for the best collection) or Andrés Sardá, which featured the participation of the singer Bad Gyal in its staging. on stage inspired by legendary Japan. Fernando Claro, Duarte, Malne and Odette Álvarez, who presented their collection at the Hotel Urso, showed wonderful sophistication in their garments with defined structures and fabrics with personality.
During the second day of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Madrid it was possible to enjoy a delicate and vintage air in the different collections that were presented. Teresa Helbig, Pertegaz, Lola Casademunt by Maite and Dolores Cortés invited us on an elegant trip to the 70s with their feminine and relaxed designs. For their part, Hanníbal Laguna and Roberto Torretta showed their more subtle side, through precious proposals. The risky point was put by Maison Mesa with its collection ‘Watch and punish’ presented at Teatros del Canal and María Lafuente with her designs full of volumes and colors at The H Club -Warehouse.
Between the elegance of the red carpet and the summer relaxation, the third day of MBFW Madrid moved. Isabel Sanchís, Pilar Dalbat with their show at DIMAD and Maya Hansen presented their most spectacular garments, while the singular and leisurely counterpoint was provided by the collections of Custo Barcelona, ABRA, Otrura and Marcos Luengo.
On the fourth and last day of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Madrid showed the proposals of the young designers who participated in EGO. From the vindication of handicrafts to the absolute impudence both in clothes and accessories, they could be seen in garments stripped of rules that showed that the future of Spanish fashion is going strong.
