The Association of Friends of Moyano ‘Soy De La Cuesta’, in collaboration with the Board of the Retiro District and the Madrid City Council through the Madrid Capital De Moda project, presents the event “Return to Moyano”, in which no you can enjoy the wonderful literary offer, and a magnificent exhibition that will take place from Saturday, July 18 to Thursday, July 23, in Caseta 22.

In the famous Madrid Book Fair known as the Cuesta de Moyano, an exhibition will take place over six days (July 18 – 23) of the creations of five renowned illustrators – Almudena del Mazo, Alberto Albarrán, Joaquín González Dorao, Patricia Metola and Marta Ponce.

On Saturday July 18, from 12 noon to 2 pm, the creators will portray, with the saxophonist Miguel Le Goff and the guitar and violin duo Melopea, the return of the public and booksellers to Moyano. This action will be broadcast in streaming through the social network channels of the Soy de la Cuesta Association, which open the call is open for other fans of drawing, photography or video to join in reflecting the return to Moyano.

Also from July 19 to 23, and from 12 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Booth 22 in Moyano will show the creations of the five illustrators, together with a selection of drawings made in recent years by fans and other professionals with the Cuesta de Moyano as the protagonist. This wonderful initiative is part of the #MadridSubelaCuesta shock plan and aims to serve as a claim so that, after months of confinement, citizens return to La Cuesta and contribute to the recovery of their mythical commercial and cultural activity.
