La firma Andrés Sardá ha vestido a una de las visitantes más queridas de Madrid, la menina de luces instalada en la plaza de Colón, gracias a la colaboración con el artista Antonio Azzato y su exitoso proyecto Meninas Madrid Gallery.

In the words of Nuria Sardá, creative director, “it has been a challenge to dress a large 10-meter tall Menina, although Andrés Sardá wishes to illuminate this Christmas with a bright and luminous Menina that gives us light and hope.” The design of this cute figure is based on a bustier, ankle strap and a skirt illuminated by 37,720 led bulbs, plastic diamonds, sequins and silver balls.

For its part, the firm Devota & Lomba, led by Modesto Lomba, has created a large tree placed in the emblematic Puerta del Sol in Madrid. The design has followed the brand’s characteristic aesthetic line, based on geometry and origami, and as Modesto Lomba himself, also president of ACME, comments: “With this tree we look for the memory of a classic Christmas. The colors are inspired by holly. Green and red are the predominant tones to build a natural texture that transports us to the trees of our childhood. “

The couturier Juan Duyos has also wanted to participate in this new Christmas lighting, taking inspiration from classic jewelry and precious stones, he has created a large and colorful garland that can be seen throughout Goya Street. “This year, more than ever, my lights want to convey a message full of energy, magic and optimism“, declares the designer.
