Villanueva University is an institution highly linked to the world of fashion. Among her different educational proposals you can find her diploma in Fashion Communication & Management.
At the beginning of this year we could already observe this close relationship on the occasion of his fabulous exhibition “The New Woman: Fashion and Social Change in the 1920s”, an exhibition organized by the Fashion Department of the Villanueva University. Then they proposed a trip back in time through a set of original pieces and reproductions from the costumes of movies and series set in a time that was a turning point for women. During the month of November, both on Thursday the 12th and Friday the 13th, the Villanueva University brings together cinema and fashion again with the celebration of its third edition of the DIGITAL FASHION FILM ACADEMY. It is a training in digital format, which will also provide its participants with a certificate at the end of it.
As we have seen during the last edition of MBFW Madrid, which this time due to the health crisis has been in a hybrid format, fashion films are a unique tool for both creators, consumers and the general public. From the Villanueva University they consider that fashion films masterfully attract the attention of the recipient, who experiences enormous pleasure when connecting with a story (however small or fragmented it may be) and dedicates long minutes of their precious time to see and hear what the brand wants to tell you.
During the development of this new edition of Digital Fashion Film Academy you will be able to discover many of the secrets of fashion films, directly from their creators such as Pablo Maestres or Diego Hurtado, among others.
Many personalities from the field of fashion such as Carla Vázquez Jones, from CH Carolina Herrera USA, Rosa Tous, TOUS Corporate Director or designer Leandro Cano will participate with their presentations in the two days that the event will last.
