GastroFestival celebrates its tenth anniversary in 2019, which is why on this occasion all the attendees of the different events will be able to enjoy different thematic blocks that make up its large program.
Madrid Gastronómico has many activities that will make your drool. From the classics of Madrid cuisine, to the most innovative suggestions such as “Degustatapas” or “Gastrobocatas”, including the sweetest version of gastronomy with “Ruta golosa” or “Breakfast in …”, all the proposals within this part of the program are absolutely delicious.
On the other hand, lovers of culture will be able to discover its tastiest face within GastroCultura.
The activities from this section show the close relationship between good food and art. Bookstores, art galleries and museums offer lectures and guided tours to all those who want to discover this relationship that was established centuries ago.
Besides, nowadays you cannot separate well-being from gastronomy, and that is why nutrition is also present within the GastroFestival program within the GastroSalud thematic block. The Spanish Heart Foundation participates in this edition by reviewing the menu of different restaurants and naming them with the label of “heart-healthy dishes”.
The youngest visitors can also enjoy GastroFestival thanks to the different activities collected especially for them. At the Museum of Natural Sciences, you can learn how to cook in the “Become a minichef” workshop, while at the Museum of San Isidro you will learn all the details about food and feeding in Prehistory.
