A FULL COLORED “MADRID ES MODA” IS BACK!

Organized by the Association of Fashion Designers of Spain (ACME), this event that will bring Spanish fashion to the street returns once again to the city of Madrid.

Its extensive program is made up of exhibitions, parades, museum tours, fashion films and much more, which from July 1 to the 14th will accompany and complement the new edition of the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week.

During the 14 days in which it will take place, Madrid es Moda will bring Spanish design to all Madrid people and visitors who come to the capital.

On this occasion, the claim has been “full colored”, which undoubtedly matched their official posters created by Pedro del Hierro. The creative team of the brand have been inspired by the models that take their creations on the catwalk, showing them in all their splendor from a sophisticated and fascinatingly dehumanized attitude.

One of the main objectives of the festival will be to take fashion out of context, which is why many of its activities are related to gastronomy, taking place at the Hotel Iberostar Las Letras or the Gran Hotel Inglés.

Also, the window dressing (one of the most famous references of this festival) will have its presence in Madrid es Moda.

Students from the main fashion and design schools such as IED or the Higher Design Center of Madrid will participate in the MEM Showcase Contest together with well-known professionals

One more year, Madrid es Moda has the support of the Madrid City Council through the Madrid Capital de Moda project.

Sustainable fashion will have a special role within the festival thanks to the presence of The Circular Project. In addition to it, different designers (including Malne, Maya Hansen and Pedro del Hierro) will meet in masterclasses and conferences that will bring fashion closer to the general public.

The fashion shows, a key element of Madrid es Moda, are also the central axis of the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. Presenting its Spring / Summer 2020 collections, we will be able to see Maison Mesa, Pilar Dalbat, García Madrid, among many other leading names from the Spanish fashion industry.
